Mike Pritchard
Michael Robert Pritchard (born October 26, 1969) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Colorado. He played in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks over a nine-year career. Pritchard grew up in Las Vegas and starred as an all-purpose back. His athletic talent attracted attention from collegiate football programs from across the nation. Pritchard eventually accepted an athletic scholarship offer from head coach Bill McCartney of the University of Colorado. There, Pritchard was a versatile player who excelled at a variety of positions, including wide receiver, kick returner, and running back. 1992 Atlanta Falcons Season
The Atlanta Falcons season was the team's 27th season in the National Football League (NFL). Atlanta played its first season in the Georgia Dome, after having played their first 26 seasons at Fulton County Stadium. The Falcons were unable to match their previous season's output of 10–6 and failed to reach the playoffs. One highlight from this season includes Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre's first return to Atlanta in Week 5 for the first time since being traded from the Falcons during the offseason. 1991 Atlanta Falcons Season
The Atlanta Falcons season was the team's 26th season in the National Football League (NFL). It was also the final season they played at Fulton County Stadium, before moving into the Georgia Dome the following season. A return specialist or kick returner is a player on the special teams unit of a gridiron football team who specializes in returning punts and kickoffs. There are few players who are exclusively return specialists; most also play another position such as wide receiver, cornerback, or running back. William Paul McCartney (August 22, 1940 – January 10, 2025) was an American college football coach who was the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes for 13 seasons ( 1982–1994). He compiled a record, and won three consecutive Big Eight Conference titles (1989–1991). McCartney's 1990 team was crowned as national champions by the Associated Press, splitting the title with Georgia Tech, who was first in the final Coaches' Poll. McCartney was the founder of the Promise Keepers men's ministry. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2013.
