Mike Moore (Canadian Football)
Mike Moore (born September 25, 1993) is an American professional football defensive end. He played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Ottawa Redblacks, Edmonton Eskimos, Montreal Alouettes, and Calgary Stampeders. He played college football at Virginia. College career Moore played college football with the Virginia Cavaliers from 2012 to 2015. Professional career Ottawa Redblacks Moore made his professional debut with the Ottawa Redblacks on June 25, 2016, against the Edmonton Eskimos where he had one defensive tackle. In 2016, he played in eight regular season games where he had 10 defensive tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble. He did not play in any post-season games that year and was on the injured list when the Redblacks won the 104th Grey Cup. He was released by the Redblacks on March 9, 2017. Laurel, Maryland
Laurel is a city in Maryland, United States, located midway between Washington, D.C., and Baltimore on the banks of the Patuxent River, in northern Prince George's County. 2021 Edmonton Elks Season
The Edmonton Elks season was the 63rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 72nd overall. This was the first season that the team competed under a new name, as the "Eskimos" moniker was retired in 2020, and the new name "Elks" was announced on June 1, 2021. The team failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2018 following a week 14 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on November 5, 2021. The team also finished the season without a home win for the first time in the team's 72–year history following that same home loss to the Roughriders.
