Michael Hoffman (born February 26, 1963) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He has 3 Children; Jessica Hoffman, Nicolas Hoffman, Robert Hoffman. Early life He was born in Barrie, Ontario. As a youth, he played in the 1976 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Barrie. Career Hoffman played nine games in the National Hockey League with the Hartford Whalers between 1983 and 1986. Mike Hoffman (born September 20, 1980) is an American former professional ice hockey player. After leaving the University of Connecticut in 2003, he began his professional career with the Worcester IceCats of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL. He signed a contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2005, but he has never played in the National Hockey League. Michael Hoffman (born November 24, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger who is currently a free agent. He recently played for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fifth round, 130th overall, by the Ottawa Senators in the 2009 NHL entry draft. Hoffman has also previously played for the Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, and St. Louis Blues. Playing career Junior Hoffman started his junior hockey career with the Kitchener Dutchmen of the Mid-Western Junior Hockey League in 2006–07. earning a rookie of the year nomination. At the end of the 2006–07 season, the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) called him up for two games in the season, and four in the playoffs. Michael Hoffman (October 11, 1787 – September 27, 1848) was an American lawyer and politician. He was U.S. Representative from New York from 1825 to 1833 Personal life Hoffman was born in that part of the Town of Halfmoon which was separated in 1828 to form the Town of Clifton Park. At the time of his birth, the place was in Albany County, New York, but became part of Saratoga County, New York, when this was established in 1791. His father was a German immigrant. Education He studied medicine and law. He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Herkimer, New York. Career He was District Attorney of Herkimer County, New York, from 1823 to 1825. Congress Hoffman was elected as a Jacksonian to the 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd United States Congresses, holding office from March 4, 1825, to March 3, 1833. Michael Lynn Hoffman (Hawaii, November 30, 1956) is an American film director. Early life and education Hoffman was born in Hawaii: the son of Dorothy (Harper) and Glenn R. Hoffman, who was stationed in the navy in Hawaii at the time. He grew up in Payette, Idaho, played basketball, and attended college at Boise State University. There he was elected as student body president of BSU. He cofounded The Idaho Shakespeare Festival with Doug Copsey and Victoria Holloway in 1977. While at BSU, he served as president of the student body and earned the high honor of Rhodes Scholar in 1979, the first BSU alumnus to achieve this honor.
