Michael McBride (doctor)
Professor Sir Michael Oliver McBride is a consultant physician who has served as the Chief Medical Officer for Northern Ireland since September 2006. McBride attended St. Malachy's College in North Belfast. He then attended Queen's University Belfast, where he graduated with a MB BCh BAO medical degree, with distinction in Medicine and Surgery, in 1986. In 1991, McBride attained a Research Fellowship at St Mary's Hospital Medical School and Imperial College London, where he conducted research into new drug treatments for HIV. From 1994 to 2006 he worked as an HIV Consultant within the Genitourinary Medicine service at the Royal Group Hospitals Trust. He was appointed Medical Director of the Royal Group of Hospitals in August 2002. In September 2006, the Department of Health appointed him as Northern Ireland's Chief Medical officer. Michael McBride (Gaelic Footballer)
Michael McBride (born 20 January 1982) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Derry county team, with whom he has won a National League title. He plays his club football for St Colm's Ballinascreen. For both club and county he usually plays in the half back line. His brother Dermot has also played on occasion for Derry. Playing career Inter-county McBride was a substitute on the Derry panel that finished runners-up to Tyrone in the 2005 Dr McKenna Cup. He was later called up to the Derry panel during the 2007 Championship for cover, but did not play in any games. He worked his way into the Derry team in the 2008 McKenna Cup (where Derry again reached the final) and the 2008 National League, which Derry won defeating Kerry in the final. Michael McBride (Football Coach) is an Australian youth football (soccer) coach who presently holds the position of Assistant Coach at Australia national under-17 soccer team and technical analyst of the Socceroos. He is part of a new generation of youth coaches in Australia that focus on developing the relationship between technique and intelligence. Biography He retired from playing at an early age of 27, switching to focus on his coaching career. Whilst still playing, he completed a Bachelor of Sports Coaching at University of Canberra and Masters of Business (Sport Management) at Deakin University. The Raspberries were an American pop rock band formed in 1970 from Cleveland, Ohio. The members were known for their clean-cut public image, with short-hair and matching suits, which brought them teenybopper attention as well as scorn from some mainstream media outlets as " uncool".
