Michael Bauer (basketball)
Michael Bauer (born August 14, 1980) is an American former professional basketball player. In 6 EuroChallenge appearances with Oostende, Bauer averaged 11.2 points per game. Previously, he has played professionally with Deutsche Bank Skyliners in Germany and Nancy, Roanne, and Pau-Orthez in France. He debuted professionally for Luxembourg club BBC Amicale Steinsel for the 2004–05 season. He was an all-star in Ligue Nationale de Basketball in 2006 while with Roanne. Bauer is from Hastings, where he attended Hastings High School. Bauer played collegiate basketball for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. He held the several Gophers records for three-point shooting at the conclusion of his career. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. When on defense, they typically position themselves under the basket in a zone defense or against the opposing power forward in man-to-man defense. Lawrence Westbrook
Lawrence Westbrook (born January 17, 1988) is an American professional basketball point guard. As a senior with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball team, he averaged 12.2 points per game in the 2008-09 season, and was the Golden Gophers' leading scorer. He is also the cousin of former NFL player Brian Westbrook. High school career As a junior at Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona, he led the nation in scoring with 41.0 points per contest. He had 883 points in just 22 games that season. He then transferred to Winchendon Prep High in Winchendon, Massachusetts as a senior, where he averaged 19.0 points per game as a senior.
