Francesca Comencini
Francesca Comencini (; born 19 August 1961) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. She attended the Lycée français Chateaubriand school with her sisters. She has directed 14 films since 1984. Her film '' Le parole di mio padre'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. In 2012, her film '' Un Giorno Speciale'' was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 69th Venice International Film Festival. She was married to French producer Daniel Toscan du Plantier. Gianni Coscia
Gianni Coscia (born January 23, 1931, in Alessandria) is an Italian jazz accordionist. Originally a lawyer, Coscia began focusing full-time on jazz music. Expresses an interest in developing "the remote values of cultural and popular tradition through the language of jazz." Has toured widely on the international jazz circuit. Of interest: the liner notes to his first CD were written by his former classmate Umberto Eco and he collaborated with Luciano Berio in the writing of the music of a stage show against antisemitism. Since 1995 he has collaborated with wood-player Gianluigi Trovesi mainly on the label ECM Records and since 2006 he has been a member of the Council of the Chigiana Music Academy in Siena. Gianluigi Trovesi
Gianluigi Trovesi (born 1944) is an Italian jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer. He has won various Italian jazz awards. He also teaches in Italy. Early life Trovesi was born in Nembro near Bergamo in Lombardy in 1944. He studied harmony and counterpoint under Vittorio Fellegara. Later life and career In 1978 Trovesi won the "RAI TV National Competition for Saxophone and Clarinet" in 1978, and the Critics' National Prize for his debut album, ''Baghet''. He won Best Italian Disc for the albums ''Dances'' (1985), ''From G to'' G (1992) and ''Les Hommes Armés'' (1996). Trovesi has toured, recorded and performed with Anthony Braxton, Misha Mengelberg, Horace Tapscott, Steve Lacy, Evan Parker, Kenny Wheeler, Mark Dresser, Han Bennink, Tony Oxley and Günter Sommer. Luca Bigazzi (born 9 December 1958) is an Italian cinematographer. He has won seven David di Donatello for Best Cinematography awards and received fourteen nominations, making him the highest awarded artist in this category. He is the first Italian cinematographer to be nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited Series or Movie category, for the 2016 series ''The Young Pope'' by Paolo Sorrentino. The 54th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 5–15 February 2004. The festival opened with out of competition film '' Cold Mountain'' by Anthony Minghella. ''25 Degrees in Winter'' by Stéphane Vuillet served as the closing film. The Golden Bear was awarded to German-Turkish film '' Head-On'' directed by Fatih Akın. The retrospective dedicated to films from 1967 to 1976 titled ''New Hollywood 1967-1976. Trouble in Wonderland'' was shown at the festival. Nicoletta Braschi (; born 19 April 1960) is an Italian actress and producer, best known for her work with her husband, actor and director Roberto Benigni. Life and career Born in Cesena, Braschi studied in Rome's Academy of Dramatic Arts where she first met Benigni in 1980.
