Metal Gear Solid Original Game Soundtrack
The Metal Gear video games consist of 17 different albums, totaling over 940 minutes of music within the 11 games. Konami served as their own record label for all their Metal Gear music albums, with King Records serving as their initial distributor up until '' Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty''. From '' Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater'' and onward, distribution was handled by Sony Music. Several different producers were used for different games. is a Media franchise, franchise of stealth games created by Hideo Kojima. Developed and published by Konami, the first game, ''Metal Gear (video game), Metal Gear'', was released in 1987 for MSX, MSX home computers. Space Manbow
is a horizontally scrolling shooter developed and published on December 21, 1989 by Konami for the MSX2 and MSX2+ home computers. It was re-released for mobile phones on September 1, 2006; for the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console service on November 24, 2009; on February 19, 2014, for the Wii U; and on July 28, 2015, for the Windows Store (Project EGG). It has never been released outside Japan. Gameplay In the game, the player pilots a starship shaped like a Sharptail mola, mambo fish. There are only two weapon types available throughout the game, which can be powered up through standard pickups. Chiptune, also called 8-bit music (although not all chiptune is 8-bit music), is a style of electronic music made using the programmable sound generator (PSG) sound chips or synthesizers in vintage arcade machines, computers and video game consoles. Konami Kukeiha Club
is Konami's sound team. It is often confused with 矩形波倶楽部 ( Kukeiha Club), Konami's in-house band that has released albums consisting of their studio performances. They are primarily responsible for the sound and music in the majority of Konami video games. One of their best known works is the soundtrack to '' Gensō Suikoden'' — the majority of the material being composed by member Miki Higashino (Miki-Chan).
