Messancy (; ; ; ) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. Population On 1 January 2022 the municipality, had 8,339 inhabitants, giving a population density of 159.1 inhabitants per km2. Area The municipality covers 52.43 km2. Sub-Municipalities The municipality consists of the following districts: Habergy, Hondelange, Messancy, Sélange, and Wolkrange. Other population centers include: Bébange, Buvange, Differt, Guelff, Longeau, and Turpange. Athus
Athus (, , ) is a part of Aubange city Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Aubange, located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It is located in the far south of the country, just near the borders with France and Luxembourg. It is a French speaking city, though the traditional language is Luxembourgish. The poet and novelist Hubert Juin (1926–1987) was born in Athus. The city was famous during the 19th and 20th century because of its steelworks factory which closed in the 1970s. Virton (; Gaumais: ''Viertån''; ) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It is also the administrative centre of the district (''arrondissement'') of the same name, as well as the principal town of the small region of Belgian Lorraine known as the Gaume, famous for its microclimate. Clemency (, ) is a town and a former commune in south-western Luxembourg. Since 2012, it is part of the commune of Käerjeng. Halanzy
