Medan Tuanku is a major area in downtown Kuala Lumpur. Jalan Medan Tuanku and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman are the primary roads in this area. Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (formerly Batu Road) is a major one-way road in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dang Wangi
Dang Wangi is an area in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, situated north of Dataran Merdeka, bordering Bukit Nanas and Medan Tuanku and located between the Gombak River, Gombak and Klang Rivers. The name is derived from Hang Jebat's wife. A road that cuts across the ward, Dang Wangi Road (), formerly known as Campbell Road, is named after the ward. Running in an east–west orientation, it interchanges into Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman on its western end and Jalan Ampang on its eastern end.

Chow Kit
Chow Kit is a suburb in central Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located around Jalan Chow Kit (Chow Kit Road) and is enclosed by the parallel streets of Jalan Raja Laut and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. It is named after Loke Chow Kit (陸秋傑) a well-known miner, municipal councilor, public official, and also the first local owner of a department store - Chow Kit & Co – which was the largest in KL at the time. Today the area features a large Indonesian community and known as "Little Jakarta". The majority of Indonesia's Minangkabau, Javanese, and Acehnese open restaurants and as retailer. Loke Yew
Loke Yew (), born Wong Loke Yew, CMG, LL.D. (1845–1917) was a Chinese-born, of Cantonese descent, business magnate. During his lifetime, he played a significant role in the development of Kuala Lumpur and was also one of the founding fathers of Victoria Institution in Kuala Lumpur. Early life Loke was born of humble parentage in Dongjiang village, Heshan district, Guangdong province, China, in 1845. He was the only son in a family of four children, and spent his childhood working as a farm hand before he decided to set sail to Malaya to seek his fortune. He was only 13 years old then. The young Wong dropped his surname ''Wong'' upon arriving in Singapore, and changed his middle name to 陸(Lù) and adopted it as his surname as he thought the new name sounded more auspicious. Medan Tuanku Monorail station is a Malaysian elevated monorail train station that serves as a part of the Kuala Lumpur Monorail (KL Monorail), located in Kuala Lumpur and opened alongside the rest of the train service on August 31, 2003.
