Johnston McCulley
John William Johnston McCulley (February 2, 1883 – November 23, 1958) was an American writer of hundreds of stories, fifty novels and numerous screenplays for film and television, and the creator of the character Zorro. Biography Born in Ottawa, Illinois, and raised in Chillicothe, Illinois, McCulley graduated from Chillicothe Township High School in 1901. He started as a police reporter for '' The Police Gazette'' and served as an Army public affairs officer during World War I. An amateur history buff, he went on to a career in pulp magazines and screenplays, often using a Southern California backdrop for his stories. Many of his novels and stories were written under the pseudonyms Harrington Strong, Raley Brien, George Drayne, Monica Morton, Rowena Raley, Frederic Phelps, Walter Pierson, and John Mack Stone, among others. Pete McCulley
Pete McCulley (November 29, 1931 – November 25, 1992) was an American football coach. He served as the head coach of the National Football League (NFL)'s San Francisco 49ers for the first nine games of the 1978 season. Winning only one game during that span, he was fired and replaced with Fred O'Connor. College career McCulley was a two-year letterman as quarterback at Louisiana Tech in 1954 and 1955. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Stephen F. Austin, followed by two years as backfield coach at the University of Houston in 1960 and 1961. He was later quarterbacks and receivers coach at both Baylor from 1963 to 1969 and on Rick Forzano's staff at Navy from 1970 to 1972.Baltimore Colts 1973 Media Guide (profile on page 7).

Terence McCulley
Terence Patrick McCulley (born 1957) is the former United States Ambassador to The Ivory Coast and a retired member of the Senior Foreign Service, with the rank of Minister-Counselor. McCulley was nominated by President Barack Obama to this post on June 26, 2013, and presented his credentials to Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara on November 21, 2013. He is currently the Senior Managing Director of the Africa practice at McLarty Associates and the Chairman of the U.S.-Nigeria Council. Previously, McCulley was Ambassador to Nigeria from 2010 to 2013. Before that, he was Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark from 2008 to 2010 and served as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Mali from 2005 to 2008. From 2004 to 2005, he worked at the State Department in Washington, helping to coordinate reconstruction efforts in Iraq. Paul McCulley
Paul Allen McCulley (born March 13, 1957) is an American economist and former managing director at PIMCO. He coined the terms " Minsky moment" and "shadow banking system", which became famous during the 2008 financial crisis. He is currently a senior fellow at Cornell Law School and an adjunct professor at Georgetown McDonough School of Business. He was also a generalist portfolio manager and member of the investment committee in the Pimco Newport Beach office. In addition, he headed PIMCO's short-term bond desk, led PIMCO’s cyclical economic forums and was author of the monthly research publication, Global Central Bank Focus.
