Mauro Malavasi
Mauro Malavasi (born 21 March 1957) is an Italian pianist, songwriter and producer. After graduating from the Bologna Conservatory and performing in several jazz ensambles, in 1977 he started collaborating with Jacques Fred Petrus in various disco, Italodisco and dance projects, and went on to write and produce hits with various Italian musicians. He received a Pico Mirandola Award in his hometown in 2008. He created the R&B band Change, in the process discovering vocalists Luther Vandross and Jocelyn Brown, and had a million-selling single, "A Lover's Holiday". Starting from the 1984 album ''Viaggi organizzati'', he became co-writer and producer of Italian superstar singer Lucio Dalla. In the following years he collaborated with numerous high-profile Italian artists, including Andrea Bocelli, Gianni Morandi, Gianna Nannini, Elisa, Luca Carboni, Mango, Biagio Antonacci, Tony Esposito, Gerardina Trovato, Ron Ron is a shortening of the name Ronald. Mirandola
Mirandola (Emilian language#Dialects, Mirandolese: ) is a city and ''comune'' of Emilia-Romagna, Italy, in the Province of Modena, northeast of the Modena, provincial capital by railway. History Mirandola originated as a Renaissance Defensive wall, city-fortress. For four centuries it was the seat of an duchy of Mirandola, independent principality (first a county, then a duchy), a possession of the Pico family, whose most outstanding member was the polymath Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463–94). It was besieged two times: in 1510 by Pope Julius II and in 1551 by Pope Julius III. It was acquired by the Duchy of Modena in 1710. The city started to decay after the castle of Mirandola was partially destroyed in 1714. On 29 May 2012, a powerful earthquake hit the Mirandola area. Ron (singer)
Rosalino Cellamare (born 13 August 1953), better known as Ron, is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. Born in Dorno, province of Pavia, he debuted under his true name at the 1970 edition of the Sanremo Festival, together with Nada. In the following years he distinguished as songwriter for Lucio Dalla and others. After a period as actor, he returned collaborating with Dalla and De Gregori in their ''Banana Republic'' tour of 1979, and issuing the LPs ''Una città per cantare'' (1980) and ''Anima'' (1982). Gerardina Trovato (born 27 May 1967) is an Italian singer-songwriter. She rose to fame in 1993 with her performance of the song ''Non ho più la mia città'' at the Sanremo Music Festival, where she placed second with Ma non ho più la mia città in the newcomers' section with 7,209, slightly defeated with 7,464 votes by La Solitudine of Laura Pausini. Tony Esposito
Anthony James "Tony O" Esposito (April 23, 1943 – August 10, 2021) was a Canadian-American professional ice hockey goaltender, who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), 15 of those for the Chicago Black Hawks. He was one of the pioneers of the now popular butterfly style. Tony was the younger brother of Phil Esposito, a centre. Both brothers had notable careers and are enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Esposito's jersey number 35 was retired by the Blackhawks in 1988. Biagio Antonacci (; born 9 November 1963) is an Italian singer-songwriter from Milan. Biography Early life Biagio Antonacci was born in Milan and was raised in one of its suburbs (Rozzano). Luca Carboni (born 12 October 1962) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He debuted in 1981 as guitarist in the band Teobaldi Rock, publishing his first solo album in 1984. He is also a painter and carpenter. Career Born in Bologna, in 1976, at the age of 14, Carboni founded the band Teobaldi Rock, with the role of guitarist and songwriter. In 1980 the band took part in the Bologna Rock 80 festival; the following year they released the first and only single, "L.N."/"Odore d'inverno".
