Camille Matignon
Arthème Camille Matignon (; 3 January 1867 – 18 March 1934) was a French chemist noted for his work in thermochemistry. He was a member of the Académie des Sciences, President of the French Chemical Society and an honorary Fellow of the British Chemical Society. Biography Matignon was born in a small village of Saint-Maurice-aux-Riches-Hommes in Burgundy. He studied first at the school of St. François de Salles at Troyes and then at the Lycée Condorcet and Ecole Normale in Paris (1886). After graduating in 1889 he became an assistant at the Collège de France. His experimental work in thermochemistry was summarised in a doctorate thesis. In 1893 Matignon became a lecturer at the University of Lille and in 1894 Director of bleaching, dyeing and finishing at the Institut Industriel du Nord. Guillaume Matignon is a professional trading card game player from Bordeaux, France. He has earned numerous accolades during his career including the World of Warcraft TCG 2007 World Championship and the Magic: The Gathering 2010 World Championship. Magic: The Gathering Guillaume Matignon started playing Magic: The Gathering in 1994. Guillaume claims to have received the 34th DCI number issued in France and to have played in France's very first sanctioned event. In 2002, Matignon would meet fellow French player Guillaume Wafo-Tapa at the European Championship. Later that year Matignon moved to Wafo-Tapa's hometown of Nantes to study for three years. From there the two built a strong friendship, often preparing for events together. Pierre Matignon (born Verchers-sur-Layon, France, 11 February 1943 — died Saint-Michel-de-Chavaignes, 1 November 1987) was the French racing cyclist who held last place in the Tour de France but won one of its most prestigious stages alone. Background Pierre Matignon was a little-known rider in the Frimatic-De Gribaldy team during the Tour de France of 1969. As an amateur he had won a stage in the 1962 Tour de l'Avenir, the shorter version of the Tour de France for amateurs and semi-professionals. Renaud Matignon (1936 in Metz – 6 February 1998 in Paris) was a 20th-century French journalist and writer who worked particularly with ''Le Figaro'' and the ''Figaro littéraire''. Career Renaud Matignon made his debut in the press at the cultural weekly ' (launched by Georges Wildenstein, directed by ) in 1954. He later worked for ''Candide'', '' la Nouvelle Revue française'', ''Le Figaro'' and ''Le Figaro littéraire''. Along Philippe Sollers, Jean-René Huguenin and Jean-Edern Hallier, he launched the magazine '' Tel Quel'' which he quickly left.
