Mateo Ramírez
Mateo Ramírez Montenegro (born 18 January 1995) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Deportivo Riestra. Career Ramírez had a stint in the youth system of Vélez Sarsfield. Primera B Nacional's Boca Unidos signed Ramírez ahead of the 2016 campaign. Having been an unused substitute for a match with Brown, the midfielder played the second half of a home defeat to Guillermo Brown on 28 February 2016. His first start came in 2016–17 versus All Boys, which preceded a total of twenty-five appearances that campaign. On 23 August 2017, Ramírez joined Gimnasia y Esgrima of Torneo Federal A. Pilar is a city in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is part of the Greater Buenos Aires urban conurbation and is the seat of the administrative division of Pilar Partido. The 2016–17 Argentine Primera B Nacional was the 32nd season of the Argentine second division. The season began in August 2016 and ended in July 2017. Twenty-three teams competed in the league, twenty returning from the 2016 season, one team that was relegated from Primera División and two teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. Competition format The league's format changed from the previous season. Twenty-three teams which played each other twice for a total of forty-four matches each. 2017–18 Torneo Federal A
The 2017–18 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the 5th season of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion was promoted to Primera B Nacional. 39 teams are competing in the league, 31 returning from the 2016–17 season, 4 teams that were relegated from Primera B Nacional and 4 teams promoted from Federal B.
