Mark Richard Robinson (born 21 February 1967) is an American indie rock musician from Washington, D.C. who founded TeenBeat Records in 1984. Best known for founding Unrest (band), Unrest (with Phil Krauth), he has also been a member of Air Miami, Flin Flon, Grenadine (band), Grenadine, and currently plays with his wife Evelyn Hurley (Blast Off Country Style) in Cotton Candy. He has released a number of solo records. His recordings are typically sparse, often featuring a carefully controlled guitar. He first became a DJ at the student-run radio station WMUC-FM, WMUC while at the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mark Andrew Robinson (born 23 November 1966) is a former English cricketer turned coach. Playing career A right-arm fast-medium bowler who played for three different English counties (Northamptonshire, Yorkshire, and Sussex). He also spent one season in New Zealand, playing for Canterbury. Coaching career After retiring from playing, he served as coach of Sussex from 2005 to 2015, winning County Championships with the team in 2006 and 2007, and also coached several England Lions tours. He led the England women's cricket team to the 2017 World Cup. He was awarded an OBE in the Queen's 2018 New Year Honours. He regularly appeared on the 1116 SEN radio station's pre-match Australian Football League (AFL) discussion and co-hosted Fox Footy's '' AFL 360'' television program till 2024. A slow left-arm bowler, Robinson played most of his club cricket for Oswestry Cricket Club, captaining the club between 2009 and 2015.
