Marianne Jelved
Marianne Bruus Jelved (née ''Hirsbro'', born 5 September 1943) is a Danish politician and bureaucrat who is a member of the Folketing for the Danish Social Liberal Party. She was elected into parliament in the 1994 Danish general election and had previously sat in parliament from 1987 to 1993. She is a former Minister of Economic Affairs, Nordic Cooperation, Culture and Ecclesiastical Affairs. Background Jelved is educated as a teacher and has a master's degree in education from the Danish School of Education. She worked as a primary school teacher for 22 years. Niels Helveg Petersen
Niels Lolk Helveg Petersen (; informally Niels Helveg; 17 January 1939 – 3 June 2017) was a Danish politician. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 2000, having previously held the role of Minister for Economic Affairs between 1988 and 1990. He was a Member of the Folketing for the Danish Social Liberal Party from 1966 to 1974, 1977 to 1993, and again from 1994 to 2011. Early life Niels Helveg Petersen was born in Odense in 1939. His parents were former cabinet minister Kristen Helveg Petersen and former Mayor of Copenhagen Lilly Helveg Petersen. Manu Sareen
Manu Sareen (born 16 May 1967) is the former Minister for Equality and former Church and Nordic Cooperation, in the Cabinet of Helle Thorning-Schmidt and former and member of the Copenhagen City Council, elected for the Danish Social Liberal Party. Life Sareen was raised on Amager, where his family moved to from India in 1970. He is a trained social worker and mediator. Bertel Geismar Haarder (born 7 September 1944) is a Danish writer, teacher and politician, who was a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. Uffe Elbæk
Uffe Elbæk (born 15 June 1954) is a Danish politician, social worker, author, journalist, and entrepreneur. In 2013, he founded the green political party The Alternative, which he led until February 2020. He is an independent member of the Folketing. From 3 October 2011 to December 2012, he served as the Danish Minister of Culture. He was originally a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party, but left in September 2013 to launch The Alternative with Josephine Fock. Flemming Kofod-Svendsen (born 21 March 1944 in Aakirkeby) is an ordained minister in the Lutheran Church of Denmark (parish priest in Birkerød 1976-2011) and a Danish politician representing the Christian People's Party. Bendt Bendtsen (born 25 March 1954) is a Danish politician who served as Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2009 until 2019. The cabinet of Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt was the cabinet government of Denmark from 3 October 2011 to 3 February 2014. It was a coalition between the Social Democrats, the Danish Social Liberal Party and the Socialist People's Party.
