Marcus Andreasson
Marcus Yates Andreasson (born July 13, 1978 in Buchanan, Liberia) is a Liberian born Swedish former professional footballer. His preferred position is centre-back, but he can also play as a midfielder and striker because of his great height and strength. Andreasson is a flexible player and can easily adjust into different roles. Career He has played for most of his career in top clubs in Scandinavia, but has also played for clubs in the rest of Europe. He has played previously for Lierse in the Belgium Pro League, for Norwegian club Molde FK, Swedish clubs Kosta IF, Kalmar FF and Östers IF, English club Bristol Rovers, Norwegian club Bryne FK and Swedish Division 6 club Kosta IF. Andreasson also represented Sweden at U21 level. Buchanan, Liberia
Buchanan ( bsq, Gbezohn), also previously known as Grand Bassa on some maps, is the third largest city in Liberia, lying on Waterhouse Bay, part of the Atlantic Ocean. As of the 2008 census, Buchanan had a population of 34,270. Of this, 16,984 were male and 17,286 female. Named for Thomas Buchanan, cousin of U.S. president James Buchanan, and second governor of Liberia, it is also the capital of Grand Bassa County and lies southeast of Monrovia, near the mouth of the Saint John River. The town was popular with refugees during the Liberian Civil War as it largely escaped the fighting. Fishing is an important industry in the town. The town also has isolated beaches and lagoons. 2005 Norwegian Football Cup
The 2005 Norwegian Football Cup was the 100th edition of the Norwegian Football Cup. The tournament started on 7 May 2005 and was contested by 128 teams, going through 7 rounds before a winner could be declared. The final match was played on 6 November at Ullevaal stadion in Oslo. Molde won their 2nd Norwegian Championship title after defeating Lillestrøm in the final with the score 4–2 after extra time. The clubs from Tippeligaen all made it to the third round (round of 32) without problems. Two surprises came in the third round, as F.C. Lyn Oslo and Tromsø IL lost to Hønefoss BK and Alta I.F. respectively.
