Marcos Antonio Serrano
Marcos Antonio Serrano Rodríguez (born 8 September 1972) is a former professional cyclist from Galicia, Spain. Turning professional in 1994, he joined the team and then in 1999 the lottery-sponsored . He remained part of the same team when in 2004 sponsorship and name passed to Liberty Seguros-Würth and in 2006, as the Astana-Würth Team. His most notable wins were the 2004 Milano–Torino and the 18th stage of the 2005 Tour de France. His best overall classification in the Tour de France was a ninth-place finish in 2001. His name was on the list of doping tests published by the French Senate on 24 July 2013 that were collected during the 1998 Tour de France and found positive for EPO when retested in 2004. 2005 Tour De France
The 2005 Tour de France was the 92nd edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tours. It took place between 2–24 July, with 21 stages covering a distance . Spaniard Abraham Olano took the leader's jersey after the first individual time trial with 41 seconds over Frenchman Laurent Jalabert. The 1997 Giro d'Italia was the 80th edition of the Giro d'Italia, Giro. It began on 17 May with a mass-start stage that began and ended in Venice.
