Marcel Hansen (criminal)
Marcel Lychau Hansen (born October 2, 1965), better known as the Amager Man (), is a Danish serial rapist and twice-convicted murderer who was sentenced to life imprisonment for one robbery and one murder by a jury in the Copenhagen City Court on December 22, 2011. Hansen has also been convicted of six rapes, one of them being a quadruple rape, committed from February 16, 1987, to September 25, 2010. Hansen was born on October 2, 1965, growing up at Tilburg Allé in Dragør, on Amager. He attended the Skelgårdsskolen in Tårnby, and later had a family in Kastrup in 1988 with a young girlfriend. They never married, and separated after nearly 20 years of cohabitation in 2007. The couple has two sons. Parole, also known as provisional release, supervised release, or being on paper, is a form of early release of a prisoner, prison inmate where the prisoner agrees to abide by behavioral conditions, including checking-in with their designated parole officers, or else they may be rearrested and returned to prison. Originating from the French word ('speech, spoken words' but also 'promise'), the term became associated during the Middle Ages with the release of prisoners who gave their word. State Prison Of East Jutland
Enner Mark Prison ( Danish: Enner Mark Fængsel), until February 2016 the State Prison of East Jutland ( Danish: Statsfængslet Østjylland), is a modern and purpose-built closed prison in Denmark. It is the first since the establishment of the State Prison in Ringe in 1976. The prison replaced the 150-year-old and run-down Horsens State Prison and was opened on 2 October 2006 by the then Minister of Justice Lene Espersen. The prison is located at Enner Mark near the village of Lund, 10 kilometers west of Horsens, East Jutland. Herstedvester Prison
Herstedvester Prison () is a prison in Herstedvester, Greater Copenhagen, Denmark, for treatment by the Danish Prison and Probation Service. It houses convicted felons and occasionally people with custody rulings in need of psychiatric assistance and observation. Herstedvester was built in 1935 for the detention and imprisonment of psychopaths. Upon establishment, they were the first European prison to use a treatment method known as democratic therapeutic community. The institution has a capacity of 143 people in the closed section and 23 in the semi-open section. Suspended Sentence
A suspended sentence is a sentence on conviction for a criminal offence, the serving of which the court orders to be deferred in order to allow the defendant to perform a period of probation. Gentofte () is a district of Gentofte Municipality in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. Major landmarks include Gentofte Town Hall, Gentofte Hospital and Gentofte Church.
