Clint Mansell
Clinton Darryl Mansell (; born 7 November 1963) is an English musician, singer, and composer. He served as the lead vocalist of alt-rock band Pop Will Eat Itself. After the band's dissolution, Mansell moved to the United States and embarked on a career as a film score composer. Mansell partnered with American filmmaker Darren Aronofsky and composed the scores for his films '' Pi'', ''Requiem for a Dream'', '' The Fountain'', '' The Wrestler'', ''Black Swan'', and ''Noah''. Michael R. Mansell (January 15, 1858 – December 4, 1902) was an American professional baseball outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1879 to 1884. Mansell Wheel
The Mansell Wheel is a railway wheel patented by Richard Mansell, the Carriage and Wagon superintendent of the South Eastern Railway (UK), South Eastern Railway in the UK. The design was created in the 1840s and was eventually used widely on passenger railway stock in the UK. It is an interesting example of a composite wooden wheel, using the same principle as an artillery wheel but with a solid wooden centre instead of spokes. The drawing (right) is from a railway design book of the early 20th century. Overview The reason for using wood was to reduce the noise. Having a wooden centre eliminated the ringing noise that emanated from early railway wheels. Made from teak, this type of wheel endured for a long time. Besides the reduction in noise, there was an increased safety factor. Scott Kevin Mansell (born 1 October 1985) is a British former racing driver and YouTube personality. In June 2015, he started the Driver61 YouTube channel, presenting videos primarily about Formula 1 and autosport in general. Sir Robert Mansell (1573–1656) was an admiral of the English Royal Navy and a Member of Parliament (MP), mostly for Wales, Welsh constituencies. His name was sometimes given as Mansfield and Maunsell. Richard Mansell
Richard Christopher Mansell (October 1813 in Liverpool – 25 May 1904 in Long Marton, Westmorland) was an English railway engineer. Mansell was carriage superintendent for the South Eastern Railway at Ashford by 1851, and later works manager for the SER. In 1877 he succeeded Alfred Mellor Watkin as locomotive superintendent of the SER. When James Stirling was appointed in 1878, Mansell resumed the post of works manager until his retirement from the SER in January 1882. Percy Neville Frank Mansell MBE (16 March 1920 – 9 May 1995) was a Rhodesian cricketer who played in thirteen Tests for South Africa from 1951 to 1955. Mansell was a bespectacled middle-order batsman, slips fieldsman, and leg-break and googly bowler who sometimes bowled medium-pace.
