Makarios Drousiotis (Greek: Μακάριος Δρουσιώτης aˈka.ri.os ðru.siˈo.tis born 10 January 1959) is a Greek Cypriot investigative journalist, author, and politician, known for his research and publications on the modern history of Cyprus. Moniatis
Moniatis (, ) is a village in the Limassol District of Cyprus, located 5 km southeast of Pano Platres. The villagers claim that it was named after its numerous "mantres" (sheepfold). Its 100 to 110-strong Turkish Cypriot population was displaced as a result of the Cyprus crisis of 1963–64, intercommunal violence in 1963, during which they fled the village to Limassol, and the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, after which they were transferred to the north. Christos Stylianides (, born 26 June 1958) is a Greek Cypriot politician who since September 13, 2023 serves as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy of Greece. 2024 European Parliament Election In Cyprus
The 2024 European Parliament elections in Cyprus was held on 9 June 2024 as part of the 2024 European Parliament election.
