Maisie Potter (born 15 May 1997) is a Welsh snowboarder, specialised in boardercross, from Bangor, Gwynedd, Bangor. Beginning in the 2016–17 FIS Snowboard World Cup#Snowboard Cross 2, 2016-2017 season, her best result was a quarter final appearance at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017 – Women's snowboard cross in March 2017. Snowboard cross, also known as boardercross, is a snowboard competition in which four to six competitors race down a course. Snowboard cross courses are typically quite narrow and include camber angle, cambered turns, various types of jumps, berms, rollers, drops, steep and flat sections designed to challenge the riders' ability to stay in control while maintaining maximum speed.
