Sport Vereniging Atlas Papendorp, simply known as SVA Papendorp, was a Dutch association football, football club based in Utrecht. Founded in 1990 as Magreb '90, the club played at Sportpark Papendorp, in the industry park of the same name. History SVA Papendorp was founded as Magreb '90 on 26 November 1990 in the Leidsche Rijn district of Utrecht. The club initially served the Moroccans in the Netherlands, Moroccan-Dutch community in the Kanaleneiland district and gained prominence in Dutch amateur football under the leadership of chairman Najim El Houati. By 2016, the club had reached the newly established Derde Divisie, but this period of success was marred by El Houati's arrest for drug trafficking that same year. The Vierde Divisie (; "Fourth Division"), formerly known as Hoofdklasse () is the second-highest league of amateur football in the Netherlands, and the fifth tier in general. Background The league was divided into two sections: Saturday and Sunday. This was a result of the traditional pillarisation (), the segregation of Dutch society. The ''Saturday'' clubs are mainly Protestant Christian clubs, who were not allowed to play on Sunday. The ''Sunday'' clubs were in general Catholic and working class clubs, whose players had to work on Saturday and therefore could only play on Sunday. The Zesde Klasse () was formerly the tenth and lowest tier of football in the Netherlands for most of the districts and the eighth tier of Dutch amateur football. The league was divided into 6 divisions, 4 played on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. The leagues were abolished after the 2014–15 season. All teams were promoted to higher divisions based on geography.
