Magheracross (Fermanagh)
Magheracross is a townland and civil parish in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It extends in area from just north of Enniskillen to the border with County Tyrone and includes a small enclave in County Tyrone. The main town in the parish is Ballinamallard. Ballinamallard railway station operated from August 1854 to October 1957. By 1910 the population was recorded at 283. Religion About 450AD, the local parish was said to have been founded by St Patrick and about 550AD St Columba passed through the area. In the 7th century, Laisrén mac Nad Froích founded a community on nearby Devenish Island. Another monastery was built in the Middle Ages in the parish, and other establishments built at nearby Trory. In 1769 John Wesley visited the district bringing Methodism and nearby Coa Chapel was built in 1770. In the early 20th century, further religious movements swept the district. Laisrén Mac Nad Froích
Saint Laisrén mac Nad Froích (died 564), or Laisrén of Devenish and Lasserian, known as Mo Laisse, was the patron saint of Devenish Island in Lough Erne, near Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland, in the present Diocese of Clogher (Roman Catholic), diocese of Clogher. Laisrén is the subject of both a Latin and an Irish ''Life'', which offer loose narratives in which a number of miscellaneous anecdotes and miracles have been grouped together. Background on Laisrén and Devenish Laisrén is chiefly known as the founder of a monastery at Devenish, Irish ''Daim-inis ''(lit. 'Ox-island'), which was also home to his cult soon after his death. Cooneyite
The Cooneyites are a Protestant sect which split from the nameless church commonly known as Two by Twos; the church was originally called "the Tramps" or "the Go-Preachers" founded by William Irvine, often referred to today as "The Truth" or, confusingly, "Cooneyites". The term "Cooneyites" prior to 1928 refers to the group described under Two by Twos. After that time, followers who were expelled from the Two by Twos along with Edward Cooney are called "Cooneyites". In some areas, the Two by Two church, which has gone under various labels, has continued to be labeled as "Cooneyite" by outsiders up to the present. ''The Impartial Reporter'' is a newspaper based in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland which is circulated in Fermanagh, South Tyrone and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland. The Ballinamallard River is a river in Northern Ireland. It flows through the town Ballinamallard after which it was named. Methodism

John Wesley
John Wesley ( ; 2 March 1791) was an English cleric, Christian theology, theologian, and Evangelism, evangelist who was a principal leader of a Christian revival, revival movement within the Church of England known as Methodism. The societies he founded became the dominant form of the independent Methodist movement that continues to this day. Trory
Trory () is a townland (of 335 acres), small village and civil parish in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, 3 miles (5 km) north of Enniskillen. The townland is situated in the historic barony of Tirkennedy, but the civil parish covers areas of the barony of Tirkennedy, as well as the barony of Lurg. In the 2001 Census it had (with Ballycassidy and Laragh) a population of 315 people. It lies within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.
