Mabira Cincticeps
The Mabira Forest is a rainforest area covering about () in Uganda, located in Buikwe District, between Lugazi and Jinja, Uganda, Jinja. It has been protected as ''Mabira Central Forest Reserves of Uganda, Forest Reserve'' since 1932. It is home for many endangered species like the primate ''Lophocebus ugandae''. Geography The Mabira central forest reserve lies north of Lake Victoria. The reserve covers an area of 30,038 ha. It lies on gently undulating country, with many flat-topped hills separated by wide stream valleys. Elevations range from 1070 to 1340 m above sea level. Although Lake Victoria lies close to the reserve's southern boundary, the forest is drained by streams that empty generally northward into the Victoria Nile. The forest reserve is surrounded by agricultural areas. The reserve completely or partially surrounds approximately 27 settled enclaves. Mukono District
Mukono is one of the districts in the Central Region of Uganda. The town of Mukono serves as the district headquarters and is home to the district's main commercial center. Location Mukono District is bordered by Kayunga District to the north, Buikwe District to the east, Kalangala District to the south-west, Kira Town and Wakiso District to the west, and Luweero District to the north-west. The town of Mukono is about by road, east of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. This is about west of the town of Njeru, where the Nalubaale Power Station is situated, on the Kampala–Jinja Highway. The geographical coordinates of Mukono District are 00°28'50.0"N, 32°46'14.0"E (Latitude:0.480567; Longitude:32.770567).
