MLW Super Series (2023)
Super Series (2023) was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW), in conjunction with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and Promociones EMW (EMW). It took place on February 10, 2023, at Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. It was the third event in the MLW Super Series chronology, following the 2022 event in Georgia, and served as a television taping for the new season of ''MLW Fusion'' that premiered on May 25, 2023. Production Background On March 13, 2020, Major League Wrestling (MLW) held their inaugural Super Series event, titled AAA vs. MLW Super Series. Major League Wrestling
Major League Wrestling (MLW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in New Rochelle, New York. The promotion was founded in 2002 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by former WWE writer Court Bauer. Arkángel Divino
Adrián Gómez, known by the ring name Arkángel Divino, is a Mexican professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide where he also wrestled under the ring name Bengala. Arkángel Divino began his career around 2006 by wrestling with his brother Último Maldito on the streets of his hometown of Aguascalientes City, and later in both Mexicali and Tijuana in northern Mexico where they both came to be based in. Face (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy", "good-doer", or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans. They are portrayed as heroes relative to the heel wrestlers, who are analogous to villains.
