M. I. Shanavas
M. I. Shanavas (22 September 1951 – 21 November 2018) was an Indian politician. He was the working president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee and a Member of Parliament of the 16th Lok Sabha of India. Biography M. I. Shanavas represented the Wayanad constituency and was a member of the Indian National Congress. He was a member of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee since 1983. He won the 2009 Lok Sabha election from Wayanad. Kottayam
Kottayam () is a municipal town in the Indian state of Kerala. Flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Vembanad Lake and paddy fields of Kuttanad on the west. It is the district headquarters of Kottayam district, located in south-west Kerala.
