Lynam (band)
Lynam is an American hard rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, United States. History Formed in Birmingham, Alabama in 2001 after the breakup of Jacob Bunton's major-label band Mars Electric, Lynam is often aligned with the retro metal movement of the mid-2000s generation. Led by frontman and principal songwriter Jacob Bunton, the band is heavily influenced by Def Leppard and has drawn comparisons to Wolfmother. From 2002 to 2004, the band self-released three albums; "White Trash Superstar"; "Bling! Bling!" and "Life in Reverse". Their fourth, 2006's ''Slave to the Machine'', was released after the band signed to DRT Records/Universal Records. This album peaked at No. 21 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and No. 19 on its Top Heatseekers chart. The album's first single, "Tanis" achieved the No. 1 spot on both the active rock independent chart and the mainstream rock independent chart. Live (, often typeset as LĪVE or +LĪVE+) is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, guitars), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), Chad Gracey (drums), and Chad Taylor (guitars). Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of this original lineup. Carl Thomas Keifer (born January 26, 1961, Springfield, Pennsylvania) is an American singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the rock band Cinderella. Early life Tom Keifer grew up in a musical family and began playing guitar at a young age. Keifer soon fell in love with the blues and was heavily influenced by this kind of music. Keifer joined his first rock band while in junior high school. He soon learned to play the electric guitar. The young musician struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in high school, and considered dropping out of school to pursue a music career. Cinderella was an American rock band formed in 1983 in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum studio albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation and popularity. Cinderella initially had a glam metal sound throughout the late 1980s before shifting into a more blues rock-based sound during the early to mid 1990s. Endeverafter (stylized as EndeverafteR) was an American heavy metal band from Sacramento, California. History Band founder Michael Grant Endeverafter was formed in 2004 by lead singer and guitarist Michael Grant. After the rest of the band was assembled, they released their debut EP in 2005 and played regular shows in their hometown, featuring confetti and strobe lights. In 2006 the group signed with Epic Records and recorded their debut album, ''From the Ashes of Sin'', with producer Stacy Jones. Drummer Eric Humbert, formerly of The Red Hot Valentines, joined the group in early 2006, replacing Austin SinClaire. Slaughter is an American glam metal band formed in Las Vegas by lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum. Ratt is an American glam metal band formed in San Diego, California, in the 1970s, that had significant commercial success in the 1980s, with their albums having been certified as gold, platinum, and multi-platinum by the RIAA. Vincent Neil Wharton (born February 8, 1961), best known by the stage name Vince Neil, is an American musician. Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records. After over a decade of absence, the band reformed in 2017. They announced their sixth album, '' XVIII'', would be released via their new label home at Rise Records.
