Lunenburg West is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. It was created in 1956 from the riding of Lunenburg County. Becky Druhan
Rebecca (Becky) Druhan is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2021 Nova Scotia general election. She represents the riding of Lunenburg West as a member of the Progressive Conservative Association of Nova Scotia. Education Druhan graduated from Dalhousie University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2003, she received a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie Law School and was admitted to the bar in 2004. Maurice E. "Mike" DeLory (October 5, 1927 – March 31, 2016) was a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral district of Lunenburg West in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1970 to 1978. Don Downe
Donald Richard Downe (born 1951) is a farmer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Lunenburg West in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1993 to 2003 as a Liberal member. Early life Downe was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He was a poultry farm owner and was president of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture. Political career Provincial politics In 1992, he ran for the leadership of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party, losing on the second ballot to John Savage. In the 1993 election, Downe defeated Progressive Conservative cabinet minister Marie Dechman by almost 3,400 votes in Lunenburg West. Marie P. Dechman is a Canadian politician. She represented the electoral district of Lunenburg West in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1988 to 1993.
