Lunatik
Lunatik is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Lunatik first appeared in ''Defenders'' #51 (September 1977), though a later retcon identifies him as an incarnation of Arisen Turk, a character who appeared in ''Creatures on the Loose'' #35-37 (May-September 1975), which was written by David Anthony Kraft and pencilled by George Pérez. According to Kraft, he had been trying to link Lunatik to the ''Creatures on the Loose'' story arc during his time as writer on ''Defenders'', and his successor Ed Hannigan picked up on this, but made a different connection between the two than Kraft had had in mind. Mnqobi Nxumalo (born 8 June 1994), professionally known as Lunatik is a recording artist, songwriter, and record producer born in the town of Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He founded the hip hop sub-genre known as Skhanda along with South African rapper K.O. Early life Lunatik started making music in 2009. He started releasing his own mixtapes at the age of 15 while producing for a number of local rappers from his hometown. He matriculated from Grantliegh College in 2012 and subsequently relocated to Johannesburg, where he enrolled at the Academy of Sound Engineering but later dropped out. Through his uncle he was introduced to Jabu Nkabinde (Rich Mahog) who is close friends with rapper AKA, who then took him under his wing. ''Marvel Comics Presents'' was an American comic book anthology series published by Marvel Comics originally from 1988 to 1995. It returned for a second volume in 2007–2008, and a third volume that started in 2019. Volume 1 The first volume was released on a bi-weekly basis and lasted for 175 issues. Each issue had four eight-page stories, of which generally two were episodes in ongoing serials and two were one-part stories. Ambush Bug
Ambush Bug is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. His real name is supposedly Irwin Schwab, but he has mental problems that prevent him from truly understanding reality around him, so even his true identity might be no more than a delusion on his part. His origin is disputed, although the most commonly accepted origin is that Brum-El (a historical allusion to Beau Brummel, as well as a reference to Superman's father Jor-El) of the planet Schwab sent his clothes from his supposedly doomed planet, hoping that his wardrobe would survive, only to have it intercepted by a giant radioactive space spider. In the resulting crash, only two articles of clothing survived: the Ambush Bug suit, which was subsequently found by Irwin Schwab; and "Argh!Yle!", an argyle sock with a Doctor Doom-like complex, complete with metal mask. Paibok the Power Skrull is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a foe of the Fantastic Four. Publication history Paibok's first appearance was in '' Fantastic Four'' #358 (November 1991); he was created by Tom DeFalco, Paul Ryan and Danny Bulanadi. Fictional character biography Paibok was born on the planet Tarnax IV, in the Tarnax System in the Andromeda Galaxy. His home planet was part of the Skrull Empire, but has since been destroyed. Paibok was trained at the Skrullian military academy, and became a Skrull espionage agent, and a captain in the Skrull armed forces. ''Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy'' (titled ''Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout'' for the final season) is an American animated television series based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is produced by Marvel Animation. The series airs on Disney XD. It premiered on September 5, 2015, as part of the Marvel Universe on Disney XD. Drax the Destroyer (Arthur Douglas) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Jim Starlin, the character first appeared in '' The Invincible Iron Man'' #55 (February 1973). The character's origin story relates that Arthur Douglas was a human whose family was attacked and killed by the supervillain Thanos. Needing a champion to combat Thanos, the being known as Kronos took Arthur's spirit and placed it in a powerful new body, and Drax the Destroyer was born. Drax's powers included enhanced strength and resilience, flight, and the ability to project energy blasts from his hands. The Blood Brothers are a supervillain duo appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Lobo (DC Comics)
Lobo is a character appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The Lobo character was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, and he first appeared in ''Omega Men'' #3 (June 1983). Lobo is an alien from the utopian planet of Czarnia, and he works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. Lobo was first introduced as a hardened villain in the 1980s, but he soon fell out of use with writers. He remained in limbo until his revival as a bounty hunter with his own comic in the early 1990s. Writers attempted to use Lobo as a parody of the 1990s trend towards "grim and gritty" superhero stories, but he was instead enthusiastically accepted by fans of the trend. This popularity led to the character having a much higher profile in DC Comics stories from then on, as well as starring roles in various series in the decades since.
