"Love and Rocket" is the third episode in the fourth season of the American animated television series '' Futurama''. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 10, 2002. The episode is a Valentine's Day-themed episode that centers on Bender's relationship with the artificial intelligence of the ''Planet Express Ship''. The subplot involves Fry trying to express his feelings for Leela through the use of Valentine's Day candy. The episode parodies '' 2001: A Space Odyssey''. Brian Sheesley
Brian Sheesley (born April 14, 1967) is an American animation director who has worked on several comedy shows, including directing duties on '' The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy'', two episodes of '' The Critic'', nine episodes of ''Futurama'' and two episodes of ''King of the Hill''. Sheesley also worked as an animation timer on '' Rugrats Go Wild'' in 2003 and as an animator on ''A Wish for Wings That Work'' in 1991. In his earlier career Brian worked as a layout artist on ''The Ren & Stimpy Show''. Brian was an animation director and supervising director on ''Camp Lazlo'', and recently an animation director on ''Regular Show'', ''Sym-Bionic Titan'' and '' Uncle Grandpa''. Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, commonly referred to in-show as either Professor Farnsworth or simply Professor, is a fictional character in the American animated television series ''Futurama''. The mad scientist proprietor of the Planet Express delivery service for whom the main characters work, he is the great (×30) grandnephew and the great (×31) grandson of series protagonist Philip J. ''Love and Rockets'' (often abbreviated ''L&R'') is a comic book series by the Hernandez brothers: Gilbert, Jaime, and Mario. It was one of the first comic books in the alternative comics movement of the 1980s. The Hernandez brothers produce stories in the series independently of each other. Gilbert and Jaime produce the majority of the material, and tend to focus on particular casts of characters and settings. Those of Gilbert usually focus on a cast of characters in the fictional Central American village of Palomar; the stories often feature magic realist elements. The ''Locas'' stories of Jaime center on a social group in Los Angeles, particularly the Latin-American friends and sometime-lovers Maggie and Hopey. David X ( ka, დავით X) (1482–1526) was a king of the Georgian kingdom of Kartli from 1505 to 1525. Life David was the eldest son of Constantine II, whom he succeeded as king of Kartli in 1505. Although Constantine had recognised the independence of the breakaway Georgian kingdoms of Imereti and Kakheti, the rivalry among these polities continued under David. He had to defend his kingdom against the attacks by Alexander II of Imereti in the west, and George II of Kakheti in the east. In August 1509, Alexander took fort-city Gori and the northwestern corner of Kartli, but had to abandon the occupied lands to David due to the Ottoman raid on Imereti in 1510.
