Love Blossoms
Love Blossoms (, pronounced as ''Xin Hua Duo Duo Kai'' ) was the long-running drama produced by Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp TV Channel 8. Part 1 was aired from 28 May 2008 to 15 August 2008, and consisted of 58 episodes. It is shown on weekdays at 7pm. Part 2, consisting of 55 episodes, was aired from 2 December 2008 to 9 February 2009. Chen Shucheng
Tan Soo Seng, better known as Chen Shucheng, (, born 21 October 1949) is a Singaporean actor and television host. He is one of Mediacorp's few artistes still active from the "black and white" era. Career Acting Chen joined Mediacorp, then known as Radio Television Singapore (RTS), as an actor in 1971. Jin Yinji
Gam Ngan Gei (born 17 June 1946), better known as Jin Yinji, is a Singaporean actress of South Korean descent. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1986 to 2017 but continued to film on an ad-hoc basis. Jin's contract with Mediacorp expired in February 2017. The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. Section 377A Of The Penal Code (Singapore)
Section 377A is a Singaporean law that criminalises sex between consenting adult males. It was introduced under British colonial rule in 1938 when added to the Penal Code by the colonial government. It remained part of the Singapore body of law after the Penal Code review of October 2007 that removed most of the other provisions in Section 377. On 29 November 2022, the Parliament of Singapore passed a bill to repeal Section 377A.
