Louisville City FC
Louisville City Football Club is an American professional soccer club based in Louisville, Kentucky. The team plays in the USL Championship, known through the 2018 season as the United Soccer League (USL), which is currently the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. The club was founded in 2014 after Orlando City's USL team franchise rights were relocated to Louisville and played their first USL season in 2015. After reaching the Eastern Conference finals of the USL playoffs in both its first two seasons, the club went on to win the 2017 USL Cup in only its third season of existence. In 2018, they repeated as champions, becoming the first team to win back-to-back USL Cup championships. Lynn Family Stadium
Lynn Family Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, in the United States. The field is home to Louisville City FC of the USL Championship (USLC) since its opening in 2020, along with the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) side Racing Louisville FC. Real Salt Lake, often shortened to RSL, is an American professional soccer franchise based in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The club competes as a member club of Major League Soccer (MLS) in the Western Conference. RSL began play in 2005 as an expansion team of the league. Real Monarchs is a professional soccer club playing in the MLS Next Pro, a third division league of American soccer. The team is owned by, and operates as the reserve team of, the Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake. While the senior club is based, and plays, in Rio Tinto Stadium, Sandy, Utah, Real Monarchs SLC are based in the Real Salt Lake training facility in Herriman, Utah, playing out of Zions Bank Stadium. Phoenix Rising Football Club is an American professional soccer team based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2014 as Arizona United Soccer Club, the team is a member of the USL Championship. History On March 13, 2014, Kyle Eng, owner of an advertising agency, launched the franchise and named it Arizona United SC. John Hackworth
John Hackworth (born February 5, 1970, in Dunedin, Florida) is an American soccer coach who is currently Director of Coaching for St. Louis City SC of Major League Soccer and the interim head coach for the club's MLS Next Pro side. Player Hackworth graduated from Dunedin High School in his Florida hometown. He began his collegiate soccer career at Brevard College in 1988 and 1989. In 1990, he transferred to Wake Forest University where he redshirted and played in 1991 and 1992. Hackworth then played several years in the United States Development Soccer League. In 1997, his amateur team, La Correta, played against the Carolina Dynamo of the A-League in a game where Hackworth shut down the Trinidad & Tobago international Stern John. Luke Spencer (born November 28, 1990) is an American soccer coach and former player. He is currently the Director of Louisville City's Boys Academy. Early life Personal Spencer was born in Augsburg, Germany to Willie and Amy Spencer and has one brother and two sisters. When he was 15 years old his mother died and he turned to soccer as an outlet for dealing with grief. He played academy soccer for Cincinnati United Premier and attended high school at Winton Woods High School. While at Winton Woods he played soccer for four years. Paolo DelPiccolo (born May 28, 1991) is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Louisville City FC in the United Soccer League. He is also the club's current captain. Career College and amateur DelPiccolo played four years of college soccer at the University of Louisville between 2009 and 2012. The New England Revolution is an American professional soccer club based in the Greater Boston area that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), in the Eastern Conference of the league. It is one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its inaugural season.
