Louella Ballerino
Louella Ballerino (née Smith; 1900–1978) was an American fashion designer, best known for her work in sportswear. Biography Louella Smith was born in Brooklyn, Iowa and her family later moved to Los Angeles. She attended the University of Southern California as an art history major, and worked with MGM costume designer André-ani. She supported her family by selling fashion sketches to wholesale manufacturers. She also studied pattern-making and tailoring at the Frank Wiggins Trade High School. While there she was made a tutor of fashion design, and began to create some of her own designs at a custom dress shop where she worked. In the late 1930s, she and a friend established their own business. In the 1940s, Ballerino became well known as a member of the California Design sportswear movement. Louella M. Daetweiler (April 30, 1918 – August 22, 2004) was a catcher who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Listed at 5' 3", 160 lb., she batted and threw right handed. Biography Born in Lynwood, California, Daetweiler graduated from Compton College, where she was a member of the basketball and field hockey teams. She also played organized softball in several years before joining the league for the 1944 season.The Women of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Daetweiler played 33 games for the Rockford Peaches, serving as a backup to Peaches incumbent catcher Dorothy Green and coming off the bench as pinch hitter. ״Daets״, as her teammates called her, also worked as a chaperone for the team during her only season in the league.1944 Rockford Peaches

Louella Parsons (born Louella Rose Oettinger; August 6, 1881 – December 9, 1972) was an American movie columnist and a screenwriter. She was retained by William Randolph Hearst because she had championed Hearst's mistress Marion Davies and subsequently became an influential figure in Hollywood. At her peak, her columns were read by 20 million people in 700 newspapers worldwide. She remained the unchallenged “Queen of Hollywood gossip” until the arrival of the flamboyant Hedda Hopper, with whom she feuded for years. Louella Brooke Tomlinson (born 8 April 1988) is an Australian former professional basketball player. She retired in June 2021. Early life and career Tomlinson was born and raised in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, Victoria. She moved to Canberra in 2004 on a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and attended Lake Ginninderra College. Tomlinson debuted in the WNBL with the AIS during the 2004–05 season, but played minimal minutes in her first season. She played a further two seasons with the AIS before departing to play college basketball in the United States. College career Between 2007 and 2011, Tomlinson played at Saint Mary's College of California.
