Loreto, Zacatecas
Loreto is a town and municipality in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. The town is the seventh-largest community in the state, with a 2005 census population of 22,085 inhabitants, while the municipality of which it serves as municipal seat had a population of 43,411. INEGI: Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática The municipality has an area of 427 km² (164.87 sq mi). People celebrate Nuestra Señora de Loreto from 1 to 10 December. It is an agricultural region where people grow primarily lettuce, corn, chili and beans. This town was founded in 1931 with the name Bimabaletes, and in 1956 its official name changed to Loreto. Municipalities Of Zacatecas
Zacatecas is a state in North Central Mexico that is divided into 58 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican Census, it is the state that has the 7th smallest population with inhabitants and the 8th largest by land area spanning . Municipalities in Zacatecas are administratively autonomous of the state according to the 115th article of the 1917 Constitution of Mexico. Every three years, citizens elect a municipal president (Spanish: ''presidente municipal'') by a plurality voting system who heads a concurrently elected municipal council (''ayuntamiento'') responsible for providing all the public services for their constituents. Los Zetas
Los Zetas (, Spanish for "The Zs") is a Mexican criminal syndicate, regarded as one of the most dangerous of Mexico's drug cartels. They are known for engaging in brutally violent "shock and awe" tactics such as beheadings, torture, and indiscriminate murder. While primarily concerned with drug trafficking, the organization also runs profitable sex and gun rackets. Los Zetas also operate through protection rackets, assassinations, extortion, kidnappings and other illegal activities. The organization is based in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, directly across the border from Laredo, Texas. Jesús G (born in Loreto, Zacatecas, Mexico 1968) is the second person in his family born with a rare condition known as hypertrichosis. He is married and has two daughters, both of whom have the condition. His sister, Lili, was also born with hypertrichosis. She is married with one son, and works as a police officer in Mexico. Hypertrichosis
Hypertrichosis is an abnormal amount of hair growth over the body. The two distinct types of hypertrichosis are generalized hypertrichosis, which occurs over the entire body, and localized hypertrichosis, which is restricted to a certain area. Hypertrichosis can be either congenital (present at birth) or acquired later in life. The excess growth of hair occurs in areas of the skin with the exception of androgen-dependent hair of the pubic area, face, and axillary regions. Several circus sideshow performers in the 19th and early 20th centuries, such as Julia Pastrana, had hypertrichosis.
