Loonatheworld Tour
Loonatheworld Tour, also known as 2022 LOONA 1st World Tour : OONATHEWORLD'' was the first worldwide concert tour by the South Korean girl group Loona. This marked the group's first-ever world tour and concerts outside of Seoul since their debut in 2018. The tour began in Los Angeles on August 1, 2022. Background On May 31, 2022, Blockberry Creative announced Loona's first tour in the United States. (The original announcement only had 9 shows compared to the now 14 shows.) On June 3, it was announced a second date was added to the Los Angeles show. The following day, tickets went on sale for the 10 dates and Blockberry Creative and MyMusicTaste announced that member Chuu would be unable to participate in the world tour due to pre-scheduled activities. Loona
Loona (commonly stylized in all caps or as LOOΠΔ; ; ja, 今月の少女, Kongetsu no Shōjo, Girl of the Month) is a South Korean girl group formed by Blockberry Creative. The group was introduced to the public through a pre-debut project that began in October 2016, where each of the 12 members was revealed in a periodic fashion by releasing a promotional single over the following 18 months. They debuted as a full ensemble with the extended play, '' +' (2018), supported by the lead single " Favorite" and the title track "Hi High". In November 2022, Chuu was removed from the line-up. Name Loona's English name is derived from the Hangul letters ㅇㄷㅇㅅㄴ, each an initial consonant in the syllabic blocks that make (''Idarui Sonyeo''). The Pellissier Building and adjoining Wiltern Theatre is a 12-story, Art Deco landmark at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Palladium Times Square (formerly PlayStation Theater, Best Buy Theater and Nokia Theatre Times Square) is an indoor live events venue in New York City, located in One Astor Plaza, at the corner of Broadway and 44th Street. The Santander Arena (formerly known as the Sovereign Center) is a 7,160-seat multi-purpose arena, in Reading, Pennsylvania. It was built in 2001. The arena sits on the former site of the Astor Theater; one of several grand movie and theater palaces built in Reading in the early 20th century. Closed in 1975, the theater sat vacant for over two decades. In 1998, the Astor was demolished to make room for the Santander Arena. Early in construction, steps were taken to retain mementos of the Astor, including its ornate Art Deco chandelier and gates. These are on display and in use inside the arena corridors, allowing insight into the ambience of the former movie house. The Uptown Theater is a historic theater located in Kansas City, Missouri. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as the Uptown Building and Theater. History The original design for the Uptown was carried out by Kansas City architect Robert Gornall. Construction first began on the portion of the Uptown that would house offices and shops along Broadway. This office and retail portion of the Uptown was completed in November 1926.
