Liu Jianxun
Liu Jianxun () (1913 – April 23, 1983) was a People's Republic of China politician. He was twice Communist Party of China Committee Secretary of Henan (1961–1966, 1971–1978), governor of Henan (1968–1978) and CPC Committee Secretary of Guangxi (1957–1961). Born in Hebei. The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC, zh, 中国人民政治协商会议), also known as the People's PCC (, ) or simply the PCC (), is a political advisory body in the People's Republic of China and a central part of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s United Front system. Its members advise and put proposals for political and social issues to government bodies. However, the CPPCC is a body without real legislative power. While consultation does take place, it is supervised and directed by the CCP.
