Listyo Sigit Prabowo
Listyo Sigit Prabowo (born 5 May 1969) is an Indonesian Police-General, who is currently the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri). He was previously the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim), and was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as new National Police Chief on 27 January 2021. Early life and education Prabowo was born on 5 May 1969 in Ambon, Maluku. He graduated from the National Police Academy in 1991. He is married to Juliati Sapta Dewi Magdalena (Diana Listyo). The couple have two sons and a daughter. He is also the second Christian head of police in the history of Indonesia. Career He began his career as a police officer in the Tangerang Police. Ferdy Sambo (Indonesian: sæmboʊ born 19 February 1973) is a former high-ranking Indonesian National Police officer who last served as the Head of the Profession and Security Division of the Indonesian National Police (''Kadiv Propam Polri'') with the rank of Inspector General of Police. He is known for the killing of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, where he was charged with premeditated murder, which carries the death penalty or life imprisonment alongside his wife, Putri Candrawati, and four of his police adjutants. He was dishonorably discharged on 27 August 2022 following an investigation from the Indonesian Police Ethics committee. The killing of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (sometimes also named as Joshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J), a 27-year-old Indonesian National Police officer, occurred on 8 July 2022. The ensuing investigation included allegations of an affair, missing CCTV footage, and an attempted cover-up. In August 2022, Hutabarat's former boss, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, head of internal affairs of the Indonesian National Police, along with three others and his wife, Putri Candrawathi, were charged with Hutabarat's murder. The incident has been described by Indonesia Police Watch chairman, Sugeng Teguh Santoso, as "the worst scandal in the police's history". Sukoharjo Regency is a regency ( id, kabupaten) in the Central Java province in Indonesia.
