Jacks Knob is a mountain located on the border of Towns County and Union County, Georgia, with a peak elevation of 3,813 feet. The Appalachian Trail crosses the southern flank of the mountain and Jacks Knob Trail ends here at an intersection with the Appalachian Trail. Horsetrough Mountain
Horsetrough Mountain, with a summit elevation of , is located in Union County, Georgia, Union and White County, Georgia, White counties in northeast Georgia, northeastern Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia, USA. It is also within the boundaries of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is part of the Mark Trail Wilderness. The Eastern Continental Divide follows the main ridge line that makes up the mountain, crossing the peak. Water to the south and east of the mountain flows to the Atlantic Ocean, while water to the north and west of the mountain flows to the Gulf of Mexico. Streams from Horsetrough Mountain form some of the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River, and the West Fork Little River (northern Georgia), Little River. Glassy Mountain (Georgia)
Glassy Mountain is a mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest in Rabun County, Georgia, with its USGS GNIS summit at , which is AMSL. It is bypassed on its northern flank by a major two-lane highway that carries U.S. Route 76 and Georgia State Route 2 east and west. It is also the location of NOAA Weather Radio station KXI81, which serves nearby Clayton, Georgia (to the east-northeast), Lake Burton (to the west and southwest), and adjacent areas of northeast Georgia, upstate South Carolina, and western North Carolina. Fort Mountain (Murray County, Georgia)
Fort Mountain is a mountain in northern Georgia, just east of Chatsworth. It is part of the Cohutta Mountains, a small mountain range at the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains. It also lies within the Chattahoochee National Forest. A main feature of Fort Mountain is an ancient rock formation or ruin of unknown origin, from which the mountain takes its name. The site lies within Fort Mountain State Park and consists of a series of stone piles lying in a long uneven line that follows the contour of the mountainside. Estimates of its length vary. In a previously published archaeological report, Philip E. Smith (University Of Georgia) gives as its length, while the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (State Parks Division) estimates the length as . Black Rock Mountain
Black Rock Mountain State Park is a Georgia, United States, state park west of Mountain City in Rabun County, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is named after its sheer cliffs of dark-colored biotite gneiss. Astride the Eastern Continental Divide at an elevation of , the park provides many scenic overlooks and vistas of the southern Appalachian Mountains. On a clear day, four states are visible: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
