Núria (river)
Núria () is a Catalan girls' name taken from the Virgin of Núria, a Marian shrine located in the eponymous valley, the Vall de Núria. The name also occurs in Spanish without the accent as Nuria, given that the Spanish name of the valley is ''el valle de Nuria''. The placename, Núria, is believed to be of Basque origin according to Joan Coromines, and related to the word ''Norra'', a variant of Andorra, and meaning "place between valleys." The name Nuria ( ar, نوريّة) has also been linked to the Arabic unisex name Nur meaning light. Riera De Merlès
The Riera de Merlès is a small river that passes through the ''comarques'' of Osona, Bages, and Berguedà. It is formed by the confluence of several small mountain creeks and torrents that descend the '' Rasos de Tubau'', in the municipalities of Sant Jaume de Frontanyà and Les Llosses. Historically, the Merlès marked several administrative frontiers. Llobregat
The Llobregat () is the second longest river in Catalonia, Spain, after the Ter. It flows into the Mediterranean south of the city of Barcelona. Its name could have originated in an ancient Latin word meaning 'dark', 'sorrowful' or 'muddy', or from ''Rubricatus'', "red." The Besòs (; es, Besós, link=no) is a river flowing through Catalonia, Spain, formed by the confluence of the Mogent and Congost rivers. It ends in the Mediterranean. Its full watershed includes the following cities: Aiguafreda, La Garriga, Sant Fost de Campsantelles, Canovelles, Granollers, Montmeló, Mollet del Vallès, Montcada i Reixac, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs. The Tordera ( ca, La Tordera) is a river of Catalonia (Spain). It flows through the town of Tordera. Course The river is long. Its source is in the Montseny Massif, and it discharges in the Mediterranean Sea. The river's average discharge is . Its main tributaries are the Riera de Gualba, Riera de Arbúcies, Riera de Santa Coloma and the Riera de Valmanya.
