Southern Ridges
The Southern Ridges comprise of trails connecting three parks along the southern ridge of Singapore. Some of the attractions along these trails include its greenery and the connecting bridges. This project linked up the parks between the Kent Ridge Park and HarbourFront. The idea to link these parks was coined in 2002 by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and it took 2 years to complete and cost S$25.5 million. Parks There are 3 parks that are connected to each other: Mount Faber, Telok Blangah Hill Park and the Kent Ridge Park. Mount Faber Park Mount Faber Park is one of the oldest parks in Singapore and a popular tourist destination. The park is connected to Telok Blangah Hill Park by Henderson Waves bridge. Changi Beach Park
Changi Beach Park (Chinese: 樟宜海滨公园, Malay: Taman Pantai Changi, Tamil: சாங்கி கடலோர பூங்கா ) is a beach park located at the northern tip of Changi in the eastern region of Singapore. The 28- hectare beach park is one of the oldest coastal parks in Singapore, retaining the "kampung" or village atmosphere of the 1960s and '70s. HortPark - The Gardening Hub
HortPark is a park and garden located in the southwestern part of Singapore. It opened in December 2007, but it was not until May 10, 2008, that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, officially launched it. Situated in the Southern Ridges, HortPark is a park connector that allows visitors to travel around Kent Ridge Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, and Mount Faber Park. Traveling is made possible through elevated walkways and connecting bridges. Hong Lim Park
Hong Lim Park, formerly known as Hong Lim Green and Dunman's Green, is a heritage park in the Downtown Core district of Singapore located next to the Parkroyal Collection Pickering hotel and Clarke Quay station. The park is notable locally as being the country's Speakers' Corner, whereby Singaporeans are able to freely engage in political open-air public speeches, debates and discussions. Gardens By The Bay
The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. Fort Canning Hill, formerly Government Hill, Singapore Hill and Bukit Larangan (''Forbidden Hill'' in Malay), is a small hill, about high, in the southeast portion of the island city-state of Singapore, within the Central Area that forms Singapore's central business district. Esplanade Park is a park located at the Esplanade area within the Downtown Core district of Singapore. East Coast Park
East Coast Park is a beach and a park encompassing Marine Parade, Bedok and Tampines, along the southeastern coast of Singapore. It was opened in the 1970s, after the Singapore government had completed reclaiming land off the coast at Katong which extends from Changi to Kallang. It serves these and other seaside communities. The East Coast Park is the largest park in Singapore, and is built entirely on reclaimed land with a man-made beach, where swimming is possible. The beach is protected by breakwaters. Dhoby Ghaut Green
Dhoby Ghaut Green is an urban park in Singapore located adjacent to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station, opposite the Park Mall. History On 18 September 2021, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced that a garden at Dhoby Ghaut Green could be chosen as a public space dedicated to the women of Singapore as part of a proposal by the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations that was accepted by the Government. Design The park was designed by Soo K. Chan of SCDA Architects. Chan was commissioned by the Urban Redevelopment Authority to conceptualize and design the space after he won the Designer of the Year title in Architecture and Urban Design in 2006 at the inaugural President's Design Award, the nation's highest honor for excellence in design. Coney Island, Singapore
Coney Island, alternatively known as Pulau Serangoon, is a 133-hectare island located off the northeastern coast of Singapore within the town of Punggol, between Pulau Ubin to its northeast and the mainland to its southwest.
