''L'affittacamere'' is a 1976 Italian comedy film directed by Mariano Laurenti and starring Gloria Guida. Plot Giorgia and Angela Mainardi are two sisters: the first is very beautiful, and the second is fat and has problems with sleepwalking. One day the sisters receive an inheritance from their aunt, a countess in debt, a farmhouse in the countryside near Bologna and decided to turn it into a pension. Ugo Tognazzi
Ugo Tognazzi (23 March 1922 – 27 October 1990) was an Italian actor, director, and screenwriter. Early life Tognazzi was born in Cremona, in northern Italy but spent his youth in various localities as his father was a travelling clerk for an insurance company. After his return to his native city in 1936, he worked in a cured meats production plant where he achieved the position of accountant. During World War II, he was inducted into the Army and returned home after the Armistice of 8 September 1943, and joined the Brigate Nere for a while. His passion for theater and acting dates from his early years, and also during the conflict he organized shows for his fellow soldiers. In 1945, he moved to Milan, where he was enrolled in the theatrical company led by Wanda Osiris. A few years later, he formed his own successful musical revue company. Marco Leto
Marco Leto (18 January 1931 – 21 April 2016) was an Italian film and television director and screenwriter. Born in Rome, Leto started his career in the 1950s as an assistant director in a large number of films. In 1965 he started a collaboration with RAI TV, for which he directed several serials and TV movies. After signing some screenplays, Leto made his film directorial debut in 1973, with the critically appreciated ''Black Holiday''. In the following years he kept active both in cinema and in television. Fantasia (1940 Film)
''Fantasia'' is a 1940 American animated musical anthology film produced and released by Walt Disney Productions, with story direction by Joe Grant and Dick Huemer and production supervision by Walt Disney and Ben Sharpsteen. The third Disney animated feature film, it consists of eight animated segments set to pieces of classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski, seven of which are performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Music critic and composer Deems Taylor acts as the film's Master of Ceremonies who introduces each segment in live action. Disney settled on the film's concept in 1938 as work neared completion on ''The Sorcerer's Apprentice'', originally an elaborate '' Silly Symphony'' cartoon designed as a comeback role for Mickey Mouse, who had declined in popularity. Maurizio Micheli (born 3 February 1947) is an Italian actor, voice actor, comedian, author, playwright and television personality. Life and career Born in Livorno in 1947, at 11 Micheli moved to Bari with his family, then at 20 he moved to Milan where he attended and graduated at the School of Dramatic Art at the Piccolo Teatro. Between late seventies and eighties Micheli obtained a large popularity as a comedian, through a series of successful variety shows, including '' Fantastico'', ''W le donne'', '' Al Paradise'' and ''A tutto gag''. Bruno Bozzetto (born 3 March 1938) is an Italian cartoon animator and film director, creator of many short pieces, mainly of a political or satirical nature. He created his first animated short "Tapum! the weapons' story" in 1958 at the age of 20. His most famous character, a hapless little man named " Signor Rossi" (Mr. Rossi), has been featured in many animated shorts as well as starring in three feature films: '' Mr. Rossi Looks for Happiness'' (1976), '' Mr. Rossi's Dreams'' (1977), and '' Mr. Rossi's Vacation'' (1977). ''Allegro non troppo'' is a 1976 Italian animated film directed by Bruno Bozzetto. Featuring six pieces of classical music, the film is a parody of Walt Disney's 1940 feature film, ''Fantasia'', two of its segments being derived from the earlier film. The classical pieces are set to color animation, ranging from comedy to deep tragedy. At the beginning, in between the animation, and at the end, there are black and white live-action sequences, displaying the fictional animator, orchestra, conductor and filmmaker, with many humorous scenes about the fictional production of the film. Some of these sections mix animation and live action. The film was released in two versions. The first includes live action sequences in between the classical pieces; the second version of the film omits these, replacing them with animated Plasticine letters spelling out the title of the next piece of music. Adolfo Celi
Adolfo Celi (; 27 July 1922 – 19 February 1986) was an Italian film actor and director. Born in Curcuraci, Messina, Sicily, Celi appeared in nearly 100 films, specialising in international villains. Although a prominent actor in Italian cinema and famed for many roles, he is best remembered internationally for his portrayal of Emilio Largo in the 1965 James Bond film '' Thunderball''. Celi later spoofed his ''Thunderball'' role in the film ''OK Connery'' (aka ''Operation Double 007'') opposite Sean Connery's brother, Neil Connery. Life and career Celi became a film actor in post-war Italy. Vittorio Caprioli (15 August 1921 – 2 October 1989) was an Italian actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in 109 films between 1946 and 1990, mostly in French productions. Biography Caprioli was born in Naples. Having graduated from the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome, he made his stage debut in 1942 in the Carli- Racca company. From 1945, he began his collaboration with the Italian public broadcaster, RAI, often together with Luciano Salce, creating magazine and variety programs.
