Linggi River
The Linggi River ( ms, Sungai Linggi) is a river in Malaysia which flowing through the states of Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. It starts from the foothills of the Titiwangsa Range, in an area known as Kampung Jerlang, Pantai in Seremban District, flows through the towns of Ampangan, Seremban, Rasah, Mambau, Rantau in the same district and Linggi in Port Dickson District and ends at the small coastal hamlet of Kuala Linggi in Alor Gajah District, Malacca, where a 360-metre long bridge connecting the two states is located. The Port of Kuala Sungai Linggi, or Sungai Linggi commercially known as Linggi International Floating Transshipment & Trading HUB (LIFT-HUB), is a transshipment area for liquid bulk transshipments and break-bulking from western regions such as the Middle East to eastern regions or Australia located offshore of Linggi River in the Malacca Strait. It is among the largest designated Ship-to-ship cargo transfer area in Malaysia. Alor Gajah District is one of the three administrative districts in Malacca, Malaysia. Port Dickson District is a district in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is the only coastal district in Negeri Sembilan. Rantau
Rantau (Chinese: 晏斗) is a small town and a mukim in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Location Rantau is 16 km south of downtown Seremban, 20 km ENE of Port Dickson and 49 km south-east of Kajang, Selangor. Negeri Sembilan (, Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Nogoghi Sombilan'', ''Nismilan'') is a state in Malaysia which lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Seremban
Seremban (Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Soghomban'', ''Somban''; Jawi: ) is a city in the Seremban District and the capital of the state of Negeri Sembilan in Peninsular Malaysia. The city's administration is run by the Seremban City Council. Seremban gained its city status on 20 January 2020. Toponymy Seremban was founded as Sungei Ujong (or Sungai Ujong), named after a nearby river of the same name. Ampangan is a mukim in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is possible that Ampangan comes from the Malay word "Empangan" which means dam.
