Club de Regatas Lima (CRL) (Spanish for ''Lima Regatta Club'') is a sports club in Lima, Peru, one of the oldest sport clubs in South America and the biggest sports club in Peru. San Isidro is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. It is located in the west center of the city, it has a few meters of coastline. Officially created on April 24, 1931, San Isidro, along with Orrantia and Country Club districts, was separated from Miraflores. The University of Lima ( es, Universidad de Lima) is a private nonprofit university in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1962 and it is considered one of the most prestigious and remembered universities in Peru. The decision to create the University of Lima was made in the early 1960s by a group of university professors, along with commerce and industry representatives gathered in the Civil Association PRODIES (Promotion of Industrial Development through Higher Education). Basketball Competitions In Peru
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. A field goal is worth two points, unless made from behind the three-point line, when it is worth three.
