Levanga Hokkaido
Levanga Hokkaido is a Japanese professional basketball team based in the city of Sapporo on the island of Hokkaido. The club was founded in 2006 as ''Rera Kamuy Hokkaido'', this name comes from the language of the Ainu, an ethnic group indigenous to Hokkaido, and means "god of the winds". The franchise changed its name twice in 2011; the first when the club's parent company was kicked out of the league due to financial woes in the season. The team ended the season with a league-backed management group and a new moniker, calling itself ''Basketball Club Hokkaido''. And finally, took its current name ''Levanga Hokkaido'', in August 2011. The team debuted in the Japan Basketball League in the 2007–2008 season and is one of only three teams in the league not owned by a major Japanese manufacturing company. is an indoor sporting arena located in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo, Japan. Sometimes called Kitayell, the capacity of the main arena is 8,000. It hosted some of the group games for the 2006 FIBA World Championship and also for the 2006 Women's Volleyball World Championship. Christian Maråker
Christian Erik Maråker (born 24 September 1982) is a Swedish basketball player for Borås Basket of the Basketligan. A 6'9" center/power forward, he played college basketball in the United States at the University of the Pacific from 2002 to 2006. Career Maråker attended Sanda Gymnasium in Huskvarna, Sweden. After his second season at Sanda, he moved to the Sodertalje Club Team. He earned all-star honors at both the Under 20 Swedish Championships in 2001 and the Junior Swedish Championships in 2000. Brian Edward Fitzpatrick (born November 6, 1989) is an Irish-American professional basketball player who plays the power forward position for KR of the Icelandic first division. Early life Catron is a graduate of Thornton Township High School, where he attended all four years, while also playing basketball. He also played varsity football his sophomore year.
