Leinster Senior Club Football Championship
The Leinster Senior Club Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football tournament played on a knockout basis between the senior club championship winners of the competing counties in Leinster. The current holders of the Leinster title are Ballyboden St. Enda's from Dublin. Offaly side Gracefield were the first winners of the Leinster senior club football championship in the 1970–71 season. The most successful clubs are St. Vincent's from Dublin and Portlaoise from Laois, who have won the Leinster championship on seven occasions. Carlow club Éire Óg won 5 championships in 7 years in the 1990s. Dublin clubs have won the Leinster championship twenty one times, which is more than double any other county. The winner of this competition represents Leinster in the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. Kilmacud Crokes
Kilmacud Crokes ( ir, Cill Mochuda Na Crócaigh) is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Background Kilmacud GAA club was formed in 1959 following a historic public meeting in Saint Laurence's Hall, where Stillorgan shopping centre now stands. The first meeting of the club took place on 12 March 1959. Sixty people attended the meeting and donated a shilling each, meaning the club made IR£3.30 on the night. The club decided to use green-and-white jerseys, but they later decided to use the gold-and-purple colours, some say because of the local school Scoil Lorcain Naofa who also use gold and purple, others say it was because blue are the colours of the crocus. In 1963 the club purchased a -acre site behind the Ormonde Cinema as a permanent home pitch for themselves, Páirc de Burca, and in 1965 the adjoining Glenalbyn House was bought. 2022–23 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship
The 2022–23 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship is the 52nd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club Gaelic football tournament. The draws for the respective provincial championships took place at various stages between June and September 2022. The championship is scheduled to run from 22 October 2022 to 22 January 2023. Kilcoo entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Glen in the Ulster final. Dunshaughlin ( Irish: ''Domhnach Seachnaill'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Dunshaughlin, in County Meath, Ireland. The club competes at intermediate level in the Football championship. Formed in 1886, it is one of the oldest still-active clubs in Meath. St Brigid's GAA Club (Irish: Cumann Naomh Bríd) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Castleknock, Fingal, Ireland which serves Castleknock, Clonsilla, Blanchardstown and Corduff. Its main grounds are at Russell Park, and it also has grounds in Castleknock at Beech Park and College Fort. The club supports 70 teams, from nursery level (four- to seven-year-olds) to adults, in hurling, football, camogie, women's football, handball and badminton. The Westmeath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae na hIarmhí) or Westmeath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Westmeath. Garrycastle GAA
Garrycastle is a Gaelic football club from the town of Athlone in County Westmeath, Republic of Ireland. The club was founded in 1981 after GAA fans in the area saw the need for a second club in Athlone to cater for the growing population of the town. They won their first Westmeath senior football championship in 2001, and their first Leinster club football title in 2011 after a last-minute free from second-half substitute Conor Cosgrove. They are the first and only Westmeath club to win the title. In 2004, Dessie Dolan was the first player from the club to be awarded an All Star. Dessie received an award for Westmeath footballer of the year for 2015 after his Man of the Match performance against Meath in the Leinster Championship. Ballymun Kickhams (Irish: ''Ciceam Bhaile Munna'' ) is a GAA club in Ballymun, Dublin, Ireland. The club has a clubhouse and its home pitch, ''Pairc Ciceam'', just off the Ballymun (junction 4) exit of the M50. Ballymun also has a full size astroturf pitch. The Longford County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae an Longfort) or Longford GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Longford. Mullinalaghta (; Irish ''Mullach na Leachta''), also officially referred to as Mullanalaghta, is a half-parish in the north-eastern part of County Longford, Ireland, located about eight kilometres north of Granard. UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912. Walsh Island is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Walsh Island in County Offaly, Ireland. With 12 Senior Football wins and 2 Leinster Championship wins, they are one of the most successful clubs in the Offaly. History Before the club was formed in 1930, many players from Walsh Island played for nearby ''Geashill GAA''. It was decided that the club's colours would be the green and white hoops of Shamrock Rovers, the top football club in Ireland.
