Lauri Läänemets (born 31 January 1983 in Tallinn) is an Estonian politician. He is currently Minister of Interior Affairs and was a member of XIV Riigikogu XIV Riigikogu is the fourteenth and current legislature of Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu). The Ministry of the Interior of Estonia ( et, Eesti Siseministeerium) is a Ministry in the Estonian Government. The current Minister of the Interior is Lauri Läänemets. In 2018, Estonia’s ministry of interior planned to introduce the world’s first digital nomad visa in accordance to celebrating its 100 years of independence. The purpose of this visa is to allow non-Estonians access to Estonian services from abroad. Kalle Laanet (born 25 September 1965, in Orissaare, Saare County) is Estonian politician and police officer. He is member of XIV Riigikogu. Since 2014 he belongs to Estonian Reform Party. 2002–04 he was police prefect of Tallinn ( et, Tallinna politseiprefekt). 2005–07 he was Ministry of the Interior (Estonia), Minister of the Interior ( et, Eesti siseminister). Estonian Social Democratic Party
The Social Democratic Party ( et, Sotsiaaldemokraatlik Erakond, SDE) is a centre-left political party in Estonia. It is currently led by Lauri Läänemets. The party was formerly known as the Moderate People's Party ( et, Rahvaerakond Mõõdukad). The SDE has been a member of the Party of European Socialists since 16 May 2003 and was a member of the Socialist International from November 1990 to 2017. Indrek Saar (born February 20, 1973) is an Estonian actor and politician, leader of the Social Democratic Party, and former Minister of Culture. Saar attended secondary school in Kuressaare and graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Higher Drama (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Tallinn. He was an actor and director of the Rakvere Theatre from 1996 until 2005. From 2002 until 2007, he was Deputy Chairman of Rakvere City Council. Between 2004 and 2005, he was a theater director and advisor at the NO99 theatre and from 2006 to 2007, he was a chief executive officer at the NO99 theatre and the Vanalinnastuudio theatre.
