Lance Jordan
Lance Jordan is an American DJ/producer/musician/songwriter. He is best known for his original productions, remixes and collaborations with the likes of such artists as Rosko, Tom Geiger, Nadia Ali, Marta C., and John Creamer & Stephane K. In 2003 Jordan with Creamer & K created the indie house music label NY Love Records, which produced a string of dance hits, most notably Rosko's 2005 anthem "Love Is A Drug" which went to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Chart, and "Last Night I Was Dreaming" which rose to No. 2 on European Dance Radio. History Jordan grew up in New York City, and started his musical career as a rock musician, as the first guitarist in NYC band Commonhaus as well as fronting several bands on guitar and vocals, including Gorilla Theater, all of which played to a loyal following for years at legendary venues like CBGB in Greenwich Village. Webster Hall
Webster Hall is a nightclub and concert venue located at 125 East 11th Street, between Third and Fourth Avenues, near Astor Place, in the East Village of Manhattan, New York City. It is one of New York City's most historically significant theater and event halls, having hosted social events of all types since the club's construction in 1886 as a "hall for hire". Deep Dish is an American electronic music duo, consisting of Ali " Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi. Biography Based in Washington, D.C., it is well known for providing house or dance remixes of tracks of famous artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, Stevie Nicks and Gabrielle, and for its live DJ sets. Its collaborations and remixing abilities first came to attention with its seminal 1995 remix of De'Lacy's " Hideaway". Deep Dish's album ''Junk Science'' was released in 1998. Dubfire
Ali Shirazinia ( fa, علی شیرازینیا), commonly known by his stage name Dubfire, is an Iranian American house and techno DJ and producer. Prior to his solo career, Dubfire made up half of the duo Deep Dish. Dubfire's style is noticeably different from that of Deep Dish, consisting of techno rather than progressive house. Biography Dubfire was born in Iran and moved to the United States at the age of 7 with his father, mother and brother for his father to attend an American university. Growing up in the Washington, DC area, Dubfire spent much of his youth playing the guitar in school bands and listening to heavy doses of classic hip hop, jazz/rare groove, dub, new wave and industrial and was also influenced by the local punk scene and the music of Washington DC-based bands including Fugazi and Minor Threat.
