Lydia Reid
Lydia J. Reid (born 1938 or 1939) is an American politician of the Democratic Party who served as the first female and longest-serving mayor of Mansfield, Ohio encompassing three four-year terms from 1993 to 2007. She retired due to term limits, after serving her last day in office on November 30, 2007; her successor Donald Culliver, the city's first black mayor, assumed office on December 1, 2007. Lydia Reid was married to Rodney Reid from 1979 until his death in July 2019. Donald Culliver
Donald Culliver (born November 5, 1951) is a former mayor of Mansfield, Ohio, having served from 2007 to 2011. He was the first African-American in history to be elected mayor of Mansfield, and also served on the city council through this 20-year public career. Early life and education Culliver grew up in Mansfield, and was a graduate of Malabar High School before beginning a career as a licensed journeyman. Political career His 2007 run for mayor was his first run for public office. He won the Mansfield mayoral election with 41% of votes with a margin of 4,862, defeating at-large city council member Doug Versaw ( R) who received 32% of votes with a margin of 3,820 and William Anliker ( Unendorsed R) who received 27% of votes with a margin of 3,159. Mansfield is a city in Richland County, Ohio, United States, and its county seat. The population was 47,534 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. WMFD-TV (channel 68) is an independent television station in Mansfield, Ohio, United States. It is owned by Mid-State Television, Inc., along with sister radio stations WVNO-FM (106.1) and WRGM (1440 AM/106.7 FM). The stations share studios on Park Avenue West in Ontario, Ohio (with a Mansfield mailing address), where WMFD-TV's transmitter is also located. WMFD-TV is available on digital cable systems in the north central Ohio area and seen in the Cleveland market via Spectrum cable, DirecTV and Dish Network.
