LuckyMe (record Label)
LuckyMe is a United Kingdom–based record label and design studio specialising in the release of new electronic, hip hop, pop, rock and underground dance music. Referred to as "one of the most innovative and prolific independent record labels of the decade" and acclaimed for "distinctive visual arts projects and collaborations". History 2007–2008 The label was founded in Glasgow, Scotland, on 7 July 2007, by Dominic Sum Flannigan; Martyn Flyn; Mike Slott and Ross Birchard, also known as Warp Records recording artist Hudson Mohawke. LuckyMe incorporated producers, rappers and designers, reflecting Flannigan's Art school training. 'We're essentially a record label... but we also function as a design consultancy too. Most of the work we do at the moment is self-originated, though, and that involves all of our record sleeves and flyers.' ''Lucky Me'' is the third and final studio album by the American hardcore punk band Killing the Dream. The album was released on November 22, 2010, through Deathwish Inc. The title of the album is said to be "sarcastic in a sense, but is really genuine in another" by vocalist Elijah Horner, who saw himself as lucky to be where he was in his life during the recording of ''Lucky Me''. Christian Anthony Garcia (born April 20, 1981), better known by his stage name Lucky Luciano, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. After leaving Latium Records and Dope House Records, he is the current CEO of his label Steak N Shrimp Records, Playa Mexican Music Group, Bash Town Records, Diamond Lane Music Group. Biography Garcia is Mexican-American, yet he refers to himself as a "meskin". He was featured early on tracks by Baby Bash and South Park Mexican, which led to Lucky's appearance on SPM's ''The Purity Album''. Ray, Goodman & Brown is an American R&B vocal group. The group originated as the Moments, who formed in the mid-1960s and whose greatest successes came in the 1970s with hits including "Love on a Two-Way Street", "Sexy Mama", and "Look at Me (I'm in Love)". In 1978, they changed their name to Ray, Goodman & Brown and had further hits, including " Special Lady". The original Moments Early years The original members of the Moments were Eric Olfus Sr., Richard Gross (often incorrectly listed as "Richard Horsley"), and John Morgan. The Moments formed in Washington, D.C. during the mid-1960s. In 1965, at Washington D.C.'s Howard University, the Mizell Brothers and Freddie Perren (along with schoolmate Toby Jackson) founded Hog Records and signed the harmony group as the Moments. Sarah Hope Slean (born June 21, 1977) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, composer and musician. She has released eleven albums to date (including EPs and live albums). She is also a poet, visual artist, and occasional actress. Career Major recordings Slean recorded her first EP ''Universe'' (1997) at the age of nineteen. It was followed by '' Blue Parade'' in 1998. Plot Candy Williams is a member of a struggling vaudeville troupe that is stranded in Miami when creditors take all of their money. Sachi Parker
Sachi Parker is an American actress who has film and television credits. Early life Parker is the daughter of actress Shirley MacLaine and businessman Steve Parker (1922–2001). MacLaine and her husband had an open marriage. At age two, Parker was sent to Japan to live with her father and his mistress. During the summer and at holidays, she visited her mother. They posed together on the cover of the February 9, 1959, issue of ''Life''.
