Lucas Stauffer
Lucas Stauffer (born April 21, 1995) is an American soccer player who plays as a full back for USL Championship side Lexington SC. Career College Stauffer played four years of college soccer at Creighton University between 2014 and 2017. During his time at Creighton, Stauffer was named Big East Conference All-Rookie Team in 2014, First Team All-Big East Conference in 2016, and USC Second Team All-Great Lakes Region and First Team All-Big East Conference in 2017. While at college, Stauffer spent time with Premier Development League sides Portland Timbers U23s, Ocala Stampede and Des Moines Menace. Professional On January 17, 2018, Stauffer was selected 26th overall in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft by Vancouver Whitecaps FC. However, he was not signed by the club. Charlotte Independence is an American soccer team based in Charlotte, North Carolina that plays in the USL League One, the third tier of the American soccer pyramid. The Independence currently play their home games at American Legion Memorial Stadium in the Elizabeth neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. Ottawa Fury Football Club was a Canadian professional soccer club based in Ottawa, Ontario. The club competed in the North American Soccer League and USL Championship and played its home games at TD Place Stadium. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. The MLS iteration of the club was established on March 18, 2009, and began play in 2011 as the 17th team to enter Major League Soccer while replacing the USSF Division 2 team of the same name in the city, making them a phoenix club and the third to carry the Whitecaps name.
